This post is brought to you by Cunard. For more information on sponsored posts read here.

Crossing the Atlantic has never been as relaxing and enjoyable an experience as on a luxury cruise with long-established cruise provider Cunard. It takes seven days to cross the ocean from the UK to North America or vice versa, but that doesn’t mean a week spent dreaming of the famous New York skyline and waiting for the time to pass.

On a Cunard cruise the travel itself is a unique and lavish vacation, with more to do and see than you could possibly cover in just one week. Cunard was established in 1840 as a British and American Royal Mail delivery service, but for several decades now they have been known for their exquisite luxury travel offering – it’s all about making every aspect of your trip a complete getaway from normal life, and seeing the world in true style.

The ships themselves feature restaurants, theaters, libraries and much more.

The entertainment aboard the ship is varied and rivals anything you might find in a big city. The ships take along expert speakers for the ride, so you have the chance to attend talks given by explorers, academics, politicians, scientists and more. Cunard also have a relationship with the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) so cruises often include performances of famous plays by the RADA graduate company.

If you’re traveling with children or teenagers Cunard provide activities and care for young people of all age groups. As well as giving them the opportunity to meet and socialize with other kids their age, the ships offer lots of activities to keep them busy including, movies, games, quizzes and arts and crafts. So a luxury cruise can be a whole family adventure giving you the chance to spend quality time together as well as having time apart to do your own thing.

If you really want to go all out you can even celebrate big occasions such as weddings, anniversaries and birthdays at sea. People getting married on-board Cunard ships have their ceremony conducted by the ship’s captain, and get to start their married life in style on-board one of the most luxurious cruise liners in the world.

I have never been on the cruise. Don’t feel like that’s my way of traveling. After the recent events with Concordia and several fires on Carnival I am not considering any cruises at all… Maybe in 15-20 years from now :) However, I am sure that Cunard will take care of all your needs and provide you with best services possible.
