Fashionable Florence Contest
Ever wondered what it’s like to be a travel blogger? Well, here’s your chance to find out. I am off to Florence, Italy July 28 – 29 for a series I’m working on called Fashionable Florence and since this is not Tim’s cup of tea, I’m giving YOU a chance to come along!
Join me for an overnight stay at the 4* Gallery Hotel Art, a favorite among the fashion set of Florence. Gallery Hotel Art is part of the Lungarno Collection owned by the Ferragamo Family, with a fabulous city location just next to the Ponte Vecchio. On Saturday and Sunday you will get to experience a different side of Florence and join me for:
- A guided walking tour of Florence and an exclusive visit to the Davanzati Palace with Fadi from Walks of Italy
- An elusive guided tour of the Salvatore Ferragamo Museum and the special Marilyn Monroe exhibit. The historic Salvatore Ferragamo store is located above the museum and awaits us with personalized service and exclusive conditions for purchases (if you wish).
- A look at the Gallery Hotel Art’s very own Marilyn exhibition, offering the public unparalleled and rare access to Marilyn’s life through the iconic imagery from Getty Images
- A private Florentine Fashion tour with Fadi of Walks of Italy on which we will visit the Gucci Museum, the Santa Maria Novella perfume shop, Florence’s high fashion street Via dei’ Tornabuoni, the Santa Croce Leather School, and more!

To enter, visit our Facebook page and post to our Wall why you should join me on the Fashionable Florence Weekend. Have a fashionable photo that says it best? Post a photo that shows why you should be the lucky gal.
We’ll let out fans decide who should come along. The post or photo with the most likes will determine the winner!
Now for some rules:
- The contest is open our local female readers from Aviano Air Base only.
- You must be able to go on Saturday, July 28th through Sunday, July 29th. Sorry, no kiddos allowed.
- You may post multiple entries, but they are counted as separate entries. You “likes” will not be combined.
- Contest open for entries from Thursday, July 19, 2012 through Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at 11:59pm CET. *The winner will be notified on Thursday, July 26, 2012. In the event the winner cannot go, a runner up will be notified no later than Friday, July 27, 2012.
- Meals not included.
- You agree to have photos you may appear in posted in the blog series on jdombstravels.com.
